2016-W Gold Standing Liberty Quarters
Just released is the United States Mint’s new offering in their gold centennial series, the 2016 Gold Standing Liberty Quarter.
The mintages have been released and the coin is now for sale. Only 100,000 units will be produced and breaking from past tradition, the United States Mint is only allowing 1 coin to be sold per household. This is preventing from coin dealers gobbling up the coins and marking up the prices.

The gold Standing Liberty Quarter is the second of three coins to be released this year to commemorate popular coin designs that were struck 100 years ago.
The three coins in the Centennial Gold Series are:
- Gold Mercury Dime
- Gold Standing Liberty Quarter
- Gold Walking Liberty Half Dollar (not yet released)
The 2016-W Gold Standing Liberty Quarter comes encapsulated and placed in a beautifully designed, black matte, wood presentation case accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
